Working Beyond Borders and in Partnership to Create a Pediatric Recognition System

In an effort to develop a pediatric recognition system, the EMSC state partnership grantees from Georgia reviewed existing systems across the country. One experienced system they thought would naturally suit Georgia's current EMS and hospital service infrastructure was the state of California's pediatric recognition system. To assure they understood what this undertaking would involve and to tap into the experience of others, the Georgia EMSC program staff sought the support and guidance of the California EMSC team. Drs. Gaushe-Hill and Mabley and Ms. Al’Belar will present an overview of how they partnered, what they have learned and how they intend to proceed thus far.
