DetailsMaking a Difference: Innovations in Caring for Children in the Emergency Department
This panel presentation will highlight innovations in caring for high volume, high impact pediatric populations in the emergency room. Two recently completed EMSC targeted issue projects will be presented; one on the use of evidence-based screening for abused children and one on pediatric emergency department use of an asthma education intervention. Project investigators will provide a brief overview of their work and significant findings and implications for participants to consider as they strive to improve the provision of emergency care for children.
