Using epidemiology to improve maternal and child health
Organizers of the 17th Annual Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology (MCH EPI) Conference are excited about continuing to offer MCH professionals a platform to share experiences, enhance knowledge, and generate new ideas for promoting and improving the health of women, children and families. The Annual Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology (MCH EPI) Conference attracts over 500 national and international MCH professionals working on issues related to improving the health of women, children, and families. Hosted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Health Services and Resources Administration/Maternal Child Health Bureau (HRSA/MCHB) and CityMatCH, this event offered sessions led by researchers, federal officials, advocates, health care providers and staff of state MCH programs. As always, it is our hope that this year's conference will help develop participants' analytic skills and knowledge base to promote program effectiveness.
